Jewelry is BACK!

Being home with my vestibular disorder (see Icarus Falling) is opening up a set of needs and opportunities for me.  To make the best of the situation, I’ve come back full force with Charmedseed Jewelry in all its splendor!

Of course I’m offering my Anne Boleyn replica necklaces, as well as continuing the wordspell line of stamped charm necklaces.  Custom orders are of course always welcome!

Tada, jewelry!

A few pieces I finished this morning after them sitting in my “to-do” pile for months.  The green pair were actually just purchased, but one of the earwires was broken.  A few fun new things for school, which starts in a week!

What “to-dos” have you gotten to lately?

Totally in Love!

With Nick, of course, but I recently found a new clothing store that I’m totally enamored of… Ruche!  They held a Polyvore contest last week, and here’s what I came up with:

Based on their “Unending Love” collection, I used Polyvore to put together a fun collection of my favorites!  The new "remember darling" dress is one of my absolute FAVORITES! I wanted to highlight the delicate, romantic feel of it with warm, sweet accessories and colors, and make it suitable for any occasion, professional or personal. The focus is on warm peach and gold to accent the warm white of the dress’ lace, but with a cool surprise in the shoe color. With your hair up, the earrings would really sparkle, but no necklace to interrupt the cute buttons and high neckline. All the focus here is onwards and upwards!

What’s your recent favorite shopping find?

HUUUUUUGE Jewelry sale!

It’s so huge I’m not even putting it on my own website, I’m just going to let Etsy take care of it for me!

thing-a-day twenty-seven: apple one

DSC00159

Yesterday I spent most of the day putting in applications for teaching positions, doing this until late at night.  I didn’t spend much time crafting, but I did pause to make this little felt piece, in honor of the first applications of my teaching career being sent out!

thing-a-day twenty-five: quick tassle earrings

I wanted some cute earrings to wear out tonight, so I worked up a super-fast pair with several lengths of antiqued chain.

And done!  Alas, I am fighting to find a wig in time for Animeland Wasabi… I had no luck in my local store, and online shipping takes a while… Here’s hoping!

I started out with some gold feathers/leaves charms and enameled them with some nail polish (which is still technically enamel! hee!).  Glad I had that green polish in the bathroom.  Tonight they are drying and tomorrow I need to acquire gold-tone earwires to complete.
